Well, from the very beginning, I’ve published everything. If you scroll back in my blog (although I don’t recommend it, there’s got to be two hundred pages by now), you’ll see that from the beginning, people who tell me their stories and their experiences have appeared on my blog. They always always have the anon option in case they don’t want to be named, and the choice to put their username in as well. A lot of people have come to me saying that they derive strength from many of those stories (anon or not) because they see themselves in them.

But if a person tells me in the ask “please don’t post this publicly” and then go on to tell their story, I don’t post it, or reply privately. I’ve racked up quite a lot of messages in my ask that way, and I don’t post them. I’m sorry if it bothers you, but I do try to respect people’s privacy—I don’t post asks they tell me not to, and if for some reason someone comes over and asks for something to be deleted, I do so immediately.
